Terms & Conditions
Please read these terms carefully before using our website and services. By using OnlinePhotoPrinting.co.uk, you agree to these terms.
1. About these Terms
1.1. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of OnlinePhotoPrinting.co.uk (the "Site") and any orders you place for our products and services. "We", "us" and "our" refer to RIPPLE18 LTD, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 14970354) with its registered office at 128 City Road, London EC1V 2NX, United Kingdom, trading as OnlinePhotoPrinting.
1.2. "You" and "your" refer to the customer using the Site or placing an order. By using the Site or placing an order you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and have legal capacity to enter into a binding contract.
1.3. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, Refund Policy, Cancellation Policy and any order confirmation, form the entire agreement between you and us.
1.4. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, or any other applicable UK consumer protection legislation.
2. Contacting us
2.1. You can contact us at hi@onlinephotoprinting.co.uk, by phone on +44 20 8058 0818 (Monday–Saturday 09:00–19:00 UK time), or by post at the registered office above.
2.2. If we need to contact you, we will use the email address, telephone number or postal address you provide on placing your order. Please keep these details up to date.
3. Placing your order
3.1. Product pages and prices on the Site are an invitation to treat, not an offer. By submitting your order and payment, you make an offer to purchase the products on these Terms.
3.2. We will acknowledge receipt of your order by email. This acknowledgement is not acceptance. A binding contract is formed only when we send you a separate dispatch confirmation email or, in the case of personalised goods, when production begins.
3.3. We may decline an order at our discretion, including (without limitation) where: payment is declined; we suspect fraud or misuse; an image is corrupted, unlawful, or infringes third-party rights; the product is unavailable; or there is a manifest pricing or description error. If we decline your order we will refund any payment in full within 14 days.
3.4. The order process is in English. We do not file copies of individual contracts.
4. Products and personalisation
4.1. Our products are produced to order and personalised using the images, text and options you supply. You are responsible for the content, accuracy and legality of everything you upload.
4.2. Print quality depends materially on the resolution, colour profile and quality of the images you upload. We recommend a minimum of 300 DPI at print size. Where our uploader displays a low-resolution warning, proceeding past that warning is at your own risk.
4.3. Screens vary in colour calibration. Printed colour may differ slightly from the on-screen preview. This is a normal characteristic of printing and is not a defect.
4.4. Product images, sizes and descriptions are intended to be accurate but may include minor variations consistent with the handmade nature of printed and personalised goods.
5. Price and payment
5.1. Prices on the Site are in pounds sterling (£) and include UK VAT at the prevailing rate unless stated otherwise. Delivery charges are shown separately and added at checkout.
5.2. We accept payment by major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), Apple Pay, Google Pay and other methods displayed at checkout. Payments are processed by an authorised PCI-DSS-compliant payment service provider; we do not store full card details.
5.3. If a price on the Site is obviously incorrect and could reasonably have been recognised as an error by you, we are not obliged to supply at that price. We will tell you and you may continue at the correct price or cancel the order for a full refund.
5.4. Discount codes and promotions are subject to their own terms, may be withdrawn at any time, and cannot be combined unless expressly stated.
6. Cancellation, returns and refunds
6.1. Standard cancellation right. Because our products are made to your specifications or clearly personalised, they fall within the exception in regulation 28(1)(b) of the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. The statutory 14-day cooling-off period therefore does not apply to personalised photo products once we have begun production.
6.2. Goodwill cancellation window. You may cancel your order at no charge by contacting us within 2 hours of placing it, provided production has not started.
6.3. Faulty, damaged or incorrect products. Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are not affected. If the goods are not of satisfactory quality, not fit for purpose, or not as described, please contact us within 14 days of receipt with your order number and a clear photograph of the issue. We will offer a repair, replacement or refund as appropriate. Where we offer a replacement we will cover return shipping costs.
6.4. Refund processing. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 14 days of our confirming the issue. Refunds include the price of the affected product and any related shipping fees you paid.
6.5. Full details are set out in our Refund Policy and Cancellation Policy, which form part of these Terms.
7. Delivery
7.1. Estimated delivery times are shown at checkout and confirmed in your order confirmation. Standard UK delivery is 5–7 working days; express is 2–3 working days where available.
7.2. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. Title passes to you when we receive payment in full.
7.3. We deliver throughout the United Kingdom, including Northern Ireland, the Scottish Highlands and the Channel Islands. Remote postcodes may take an additional 1–2 working days.
7.4. Where we cannot deliver within 30 days of order (or any longer period agreed at checkout), you may cancel and receive a full refund, subject to regulation 42 of the CCR 2013.
7.5. International orders may attract customs duties, import VAT and handling fees. These are payable by you. We have no control over these charges and cannot estimate them in advance.
8. Photo storage
8.1. We provide image storage as a convenience to help you reorder. It is not a backup service. You should keep your own copies of any image you value.
8.2. We retain images attached to a customer account for as long as the account is active. Inactive accounts (no purchases for 18 months) may have their stored images deleted following at least one reminder email.
8.3. We are not liable for the loss, deletion or corruption of stored images other than where caused by our negligence. See clause 13.
9. Acceptable use
9.1. You may not upload, transmit or order any content that: (a) infringes any third-party intellectual property right; (b) is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, threatening, harassing or abusive; (c) depicts a minor in any non-innocent context or in violation of UK law; (d) contains personal data of others where you do not have a lawful basis to share it; or (e) contains malware.
9.2. You are solely responsible for the content you upload and warrant that you have all necessary rights and consents.
9.3. We do not pre-screen uploaded content but reserve the right to refuse, remove or report content that breaches this clause, and to suspend or terminate accounts in serious or repeated cases.
9.4. You agree to indemnify us against any third-party claim, loss or cost arising from your breach of this clause 9.
10. Your account
10.1. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.
10.2. You may close your account at any time from your dashboard or by emailing us. Closing your account does not affect orders already placed.
11. Our intellectual property
11.1. The Site, our software, photo editor, templates, designs and content are owned by RIPPLE18 LTD or its licensors and protected by UK and international copyright, trade mark and other laws. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use them solely for the purpose of placing personal, non-commercial orders.
11.2. You retain all rights in the images you upload. You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to host, store, reproduce and use those images solely to provide the services to you (fulfil your order, render previews, enable reordering).
12. Privacy and data protection
12.1. We process personal data in accordance with the UK GDPR, the Data Protection Act 2018 and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003. Full details are in our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
13. Our liability to you
13.1. Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for: death or personal injury caused by our negligence; fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; breach of the statutory terms implied by the Consumer Rights Act 2015 (sections 9–11, 13–17); or any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.
13.2. Subject to clause 13.1, where we are liable to you for breach of these Terms, our total liability for any single order is limited to the greater of (a) the price you paid for that order and (b) £100.
13.3. We are not liable for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was formed, or for business losses (loss of profit, loss of revenue, loss of business opportunity). The products are supplied for domestic and private use only.
13.4. We are not liable for events outside our reasonable control (force majeure), including but not limited to industrial action, network failures, postal/courier disruption, severe weather, and acts of government.
14. Complaints and alternative dispute resolution
14.1. If you have a complaint, please contact us first at hi@onlinephotoprinting.co.uk. We aim to acknowledge complaints within 2 working days and resolve them within 14 days.
14.2. If we cannot resolve your complaint, you may be entitled to refer it to an Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) provider. We are not currently a member of an ADR scheme; however you may approach a certified ADR provider of your choice. Information about ADR is available on the Chartered Trading Standards Institute website.
14.3. You may also bring a claim in the County Court of England and Wales.
15. Changes to these Terms
15.1. We may amend these Terms from time to time. The version in force at the time of your order governs that order. Material changes that affect existing customers will be notified by email or on first sign-in.
16. General
16.1. If any provision is held invalid or unenforceable, the rest of these Terms remain in force.
16.2. Our delay or failure to enforce a right is not a waiver of that right.
16.3. These Terms are personal to you. You may not assign or transfer them. No third party has any right to enforce these Terms (the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 is excluded except where stated).
16.4. These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except that consumers domiciled in another UK nation may bring proceedings in their home courts as permitted by law.
